Assistant Professor - Work, Technology and Organisation


The Research Center for Work, Technology, and Organization at emlyon business school is seeking candidates to fill one full-time position at the rank of assistant professor, starting July 2021. This is a new research center at emlyon business school that focuses on studies of work and expertise in the context of technological, organizational, and institutional change. The Center is directed by Professor Ruthanne Huising.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree (or will earn the degree within one semester from the start of the appointment) in management, business administration or a related field. The selected candidate will be expected to conduct high-quality research and contribute to the development of the research center. The position also requires teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses, and advising and mentoring students.

    • a Ph.D. in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field (must be completed by December 2021);
    • demonstrated potential for conducting high quality research and publishing in top management journals;

    demonstrated contributions to the field through organizing and participating in research-related events (locally or extra-locally)
