Chercheur postdoctoral H/F en Sciences Sociales et Humanités

THE POSITION

OCE Research Center at emlyon business school is looking to fill a one- or two-year funded post-doctoral position starting September 2019.
This post-doc position provides promising scholars with an excellent opportunity to move forward their papers, further push research projects, and start new ones, as well as helping to animate the activities of the research centre.
OCE Research Center at emlyon makes up a supportive, very convivial and dynamic social and research environment. OCE members meet regularly to discuss research, attend invited talks, mentor PhDs and junior faculty members, and hold informal chats over coffee or lunch.

OCE brings together researchers mostly interested in Social Sciences and Humanities, as well as Organization Studies. We are intellectually open, with a strong qualitative methodological tropism.

More particularly, many OCE members and PhD students are developing ethnographic research, and it is expected that the candidate be willing to engage in this methodological approach and projects.

OCE members are extremely engaged and passionate about research having an impact on societies and people.

They are also research active, and have published in outlets such as AMJ, AMR, Org. Science, Org. Studies, SMJ, JBV, ETP, Organization or JBE…

Some of them have a strong experience in editorial work and publishing.

We expect the postdoctoral colleague to be part of our research community, engaged in our work and our diverse projects and activities. T
eaching is not required, but possible. The working languages are both French and English. While French is not mandatory, it is a major plus for conducting fieldwork for some of the projects of the center.
